This program helps individuals take effective action despite the stressors they experience when facing the challenges and uncertainty resulting from organizational change announcements. They'll learn the importance of resiliency and practice new techniques and behaviours that will enhance their ability to quickly recover and maintain positive functioning.
Participants will learn about the four key components of personal resilience:
- Understand Yourself: Examine responses to change and prepare a personal resilience profile.
- Know the Territory: Learn about underlying forces shaping the new workplace.
- Connect to Resources: Tap personal, organizational and community connections for resources and support.
- Take Action: Identify developmental actions and establish goals for moving forward.
