Promoting Economic Opportunity and Prosperity across the Asia-Pacific



The Asia-Pacific regionis a primary driver of growth and prosperity in the world and serves as an important anchor and catalyst of ideas and policy measures to build sustainable and secure economic growth for its societies. Against this background, the National Center for APEC and the U.S. Committee for the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council are convening the Asia-Pacific Policy Forum to bring together senior representatives from government and private sector to consider smart and effective policies to expand economic opportunity in the Asia-Pacific. Discussions will focus on top issues impactingaccess to opportunity in the region – what matters most to people – and ways that APEC can serve as a forum to promote cooperation in women's economic empowerment, the digital economy and inclusive growth.
