With the introduction of Carbon Pricing in Singapore, Taxable and Reportable facilities are required to report their GHG emissions to National Environment Agency (NEA) annually. Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS) and EY have launched Singapore's first GHG Manager training program to help these facilities maintain competent individuals who can report organization's GHG emissions to NEA.
This program adopts a modular approach and is designed to help professionals quantify GHG emissions from emission sources applicable generically across industries.
Module-1: Understanding GHG emissions and its calculation methodologies
►Overview of Climate Change and Global Warming
►Understanding types of Carbon footprint
►Introduction to emission sources and types of Greenhouse gases to be considered
►GHG calculation methodologies including IPCC, UNFCCC, etc.
►Multiple exercises on calculation of GHG emissions
Module-2: Monitoring raw data for GHG emissions
►Identify meters and techniques for raw data monitoring
►Quality management principles to manage raw data
►Exercises to identify monitoring of raw data
Module-3: NEA Reporting framework for Taxable and Reportable facilities
