Event Details

Our BLCC connection in Shanghai DaWo Law Firm has kindly offered to present a 3 piece webinar series to update our business communities on the current corporate legal landscape in Mainland China. The 3 events will take place on 9, 15 and 23 July and are interconnected. We recommend attending all 3 if possible.

These 3 power lunch webinars are short & punchy with a brief speaking slot followed by Q&A. Moderation will be provided by Ms. Carmen Bakas, she is an associate professor International Investment Law at Fudan University, Shanghai and a Counsel at DaWo.

Our first speaker will be Mr. Philippe Snel. Philippe is the Managing Director of DaWo Law Firm Shanghai & a member of the Brussels Bar. He has been active full-time as a business lawyer in China for more than 15 years. Philippe mainly advises in the fields of corporate law, compliance & technology transfer.

This webinar will cover the current business environment in China, primarily with respect to the massive disruption of business due to Covid-19. Subjects will include bankruptcy, liquidation & reorganization.

This webinar series is co-hosted by several HK Chambers as well as BenCham in Mainland China.
