About the ANZCHAM Mentoring Program (AMP)

ANZCHAM Mentoring Program (AMP) is a virtual pilot program and invites ANZCHAM members to apply for mentoring with both female and male mentors from the ANZCHAM Board of Directors and our Women in Business Committee Members. This is a unique opportunity if you are looking for career guidance, business and industry knowledge, share a close professional relationship and gain insight into new possibilities. Our ANZCHAM mentors bring to the mentoring program a wealth of knowledge, skills, and expertise in multiple business fields. Mentees will be able to continue to build their skills, knowledge, and experiences, gaining confidence, growing networks and more!

  • The AMP is a three (3) month mentoring partnership
  • Mentoring will be held twice a month for one (1) hour each meeting
  • The mentees will work one-on-one with a dedicated business mentor
  • The mentees will receive a program manual, action plan and relevant supporting material

This program is intended for members who are passionate about working with a mentor to build their career skills, knowledge, and experiences to help support their career goals and key learning objectives to evolve for the future.  

How to Become a Mentee
How to Become a Mentee
  • Must be an ANZCHAM member.
  • Please email the AMP Management Office through Van McLean Robles at communications@anzcham.com to request for the AMP mentee application form and apply to the mentoring program
  • Submit your completed application form together with your resume from 4 August until COB 14 August 2020, Friday
  • The information you provide in the mentee application form will assist us in matching you with a mentor that most closely matches your career experience, skills, and industry, so please complete this form as fully as possible. You will also need to list your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd mentor preferences which we will take into consideration as part of the mentee/mentor selection and matching process. These preferences are matched as closely as possible with the mentor's area of expertise which the AMP Management Office will try and accommodate, however the AMP Management Office will make the final matching decision. Please type and submit your responses to the questions, along with a copy of your resume, for your application to be complete.
  • Send your completed application form and resume to Van Robles on or before 14 August 2020.
  • Mentees will be notified via email between 24 August - 28 August 2020, if they have been selected and which mentor, they have been matched to based on their application form, preferences, and the mentor's areas of expertise.

  • ANZCHAM virtual mentoring orientation sessions will be conducted for 1 hour with 2 sessions from 2 - 3 September 2020
  • Mentor and mentee first meeting will commence during the week of 7 September 2020.
  • AMP program finish date is Thursday, 26 November 2020.
  • AMP close/thank you virtual event for mentors and mentees (mentees will receive an e-certificate) on 8 December 2020.
