In 2017 the world began to act on a hashtag that normalised advocacy against sexual harassment and abuse.
#metoo

Then, in December 2017, #metoo transitioned from media furore to practical, community driven solutions in hong kong, through the first “#metoo. Now what?” workshop. This workshop gathered women and through community, formed the tools needed to identify, respond and end sexual harassment.

The third #metoo Now What? workshop is specifically focused on the cultural nuances of Indian society, and applying the questioning of the status quo that #metoo has brought to this subgroup.
India is a tradition-bound society with strict gender norms and expectations. While much is changing, there are many leaps between present day and the equal perception and treatment of Indian men and women. #MTNW workshops provide for a safe space to gather to identify sexual harassment; discuss the impact it has had on your life; generate responses as tools for when you find yourself in an uncomfortable situation; and outline how to report an incident.
